Statement of Faith
I believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16,17: All Scripture is god-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work).

I believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit).

I believe that all people are sinners and are saved by God's grace alone, not trusting in any personal works, but in the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
(Romans 3:23: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God).
(Ephesians 2:8-9: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast).

I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
(Ephesians 1:13-14: And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Hoy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession - to the praise of his glory).

I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Philippians 2:1-4: If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, eing one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing our of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others).
