Based
on careful consideration and evaluation, we have decided not to launch
our basketball program during the 2009 spring season. As we operate in
these challenging economic times, we are forced to take a conservative
position as it relates to growing our program. Quite frankly, we don't
have the resources to effectively establish our basketball program at
this time.
We intend to launch our basketball program at some point in the future, although no timetable is being set.
We have become acquainted with another quality basketball organization, the Minnesota Suns,
that will launch their program in the spring. Currently, they have
limited openings for girls in 8th, 10th and 11th grades. For boys,
there are limited openings in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. This program
operates at the elite level and participates in AAU events.
We
apologize if this causes any inconvenience, but feel this is the best
decision for Crossfire Youth Sports in the short-term. Please let us
