One of the first things you should do is educate yourself about the Rules and Regulations of each division you are interested in. The rules for Division I, II and III vary greatly and it's important to understand the differences.

HELPFUL TIPS:
- Get registered on University Athlete. Most college coaches use this tool to find out about players
- RichKerns.com is another great website that is loaded with useful information for all divisions
- Click HERE for a useful "What's Important To You" list
- Once you've made your list. Start contacting coaches that fit your list.
- When sending an email to a coach always include a link to a YouTube video. The video should be 5 min of skills/highlights of you and 15-20 minutes of unedited game footage that clearly shows the whole court (best if shot from the endline). Be sure to include your name and jersey # in the Title of the video
