Crossfire's fall volleyball teams for girls in 4th to 9th grade will start on August 14th. Athletes will learn and build a solid foundation of fundamental volleyball skills under the direction of experienced Crossfire coaches. Teams will participate in competitions against other clubs on select Saturdays in September and October. Other details are below:
Eligibility: 4th to 9th grade girls (in the fall of 2017). Experienced players as well as beginning players can participate. Note: any player participating on a high school Varsity, JV or B-squad team is not eligible to participate in this league in order to comply with Minnesota State High School League guidelines.
Teams: As many as ten teams will be formed and players will be grouped according to age and experience level. Team placement decisions are final and will not be changed.
Practices: Teams will practice twice per week for 1.5 hours at Crossfire Training Center in Champlin. Possible practice days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday between 5:30 and 9:00pm or Sunday between 3:00 and 9:00pm.
Competitions: Five competitions will be held around the Twin Cities metro area and are grouped in two age categories - 9th Grade & Under teams and 6th Grade & Under teams.
Cost: $325, includes t-shirt, coaching, training time, tournament costs. There are no tryouts, simply sign up to participate. Full payment is required upon registration and is non-refundable. Space is limited and we will close age divisions when maximum numbers are reached.
