Boys Director
Jeff (Jovi) Sorensen (bio) is the director of the Crossfire Boys volleyball program. For many years Jovi has had a passion for developing a volleyball program for boys and was the founder of Jaguars Volleyball based in Bloomington, before this program merged with Crossfire Volleyball in 2008.
Team Description
Two teams will be formed - one for 3rd to 5th grade boys and one for 6th to 8th grade boys. Note: If there is enough interest, a high school boys team will be formed in the February or March timeframe.
Location
Practices take place at the Crossfire Training Center in Champlin
Timeframe
The season will begin on Saturday, December 1st and will conclude in March.
Practices
One practice per week on Saturday morning, except on the weekend of a tournament. There will be no practice on December 29th over the Christmas holiday.
Tournaments
Teams will participate in 4 events, mostly on Saturdays, but there might be a Sunday tournament. Due to the limited number of boys teams in the area, the events are likely to compete against girls' teams in tournaments.
Cost & Registration
Cost is $325. No tryouts are conducted - registration is now open. Space is limited - we will close the registration when the program is full. A $150 deposit is required at the time of registration.
