Winter team information for 4th to 8th grade girls

or 10U to 14U athletes according to age classification

All aspiring volleyball players have a place to play at Crossfire Volleyball. Advanced players can prepare to make an impact in her high school program in the future. Or brand new players can be introduced to the sport in a productive learning environment. At any level we are very intentional to build and reinforce a solid foundation of fundamental skills and have fun along the way at Crossfire Volleyball. 

Elite Teams

Entering our 16th year of volleyball training, Crossfire Volleyball has a proven track record of elite team success. More specific team information is below based on age categories:   14 Elite     13 Elite     12 Elite    
  • Tryouts on Sunday, October 7th
    • 8:00am - 11's & 12's Elite Teams
    • 9:30am - 13's & 14's Elite Teams
Tryout registration will open by August 31st. Those who don't make an elite team will not be cut, but will be offered a position in our 13/14 short season program (see below). Leading up to tryouts, we offer many opportunities for athletes to become familiar with Crossfire Volleyball and prepare for the day of team selection. Consider a tryout prep class or open gym

Short Season Teams

No tryouts - simply sign up to play. Registration deadline is Sunday, October 28th, unless capacity is reached before that date. Ideal for volleyball athletes who play a spring sport. Short season teams start in November and conclude by early March. Teams practice twice per week and play in five competitive events. 13/14 Short Season Information Page.

Youth Development Teams (YDT)

Youth Development Teams (YDT) offer an introductory volleyball experience for 4th to 6th grade girls. Young athletes will be taught the basic skills of serving, passing and attacking in the context of team training. Lisa Murphy, an experienced high school Varsity coach, will direct the YDT training.
